Can you help me spice up my uniform?
My school is cracking down on uniform policy mid year. Here are the guide lines:
Pants or skirts: Black or khaki no jean material.
Shirts: Black or white with collar or turtle neck.
Sweaters: Black and white only.
Tights: Black or white (solid) no leggings.
*No scarves, distracting jewelry, or hats etc.
Pretty much I can only wear black or white anything!
Help me please!
If you are stuck to black and white – does it have to be solid? Go for patterns like zebra, checkered, plaid, stripes. You also didn’t mention your shoes. Lots of cute shoes come in black and/or white. I understand no hats but does that mean no hair clips? Also, a good haircut can go a long way to complimenting an outfit. Experiment with clothing forms, such as 3/4 lenght sleeves, bootcut pants or mild flare, girl cut shirts or men’s shirts. Wear a black tie with your collared shirt. Or a long black ribbon tied up in place of a tie. Look for clothes in different materials, such as a bulky hand knit sweater or a cashmere sweater.
If you run out of ideas, ask the people in the shops at the malls. They may be able to help you out with their fashion experience.
